Verdicchio starts off in Paso Viejo, Cordoba, but its history goes back to ancient Italy. Many years before the name Verdicchio came out, there were just a few families who knew the secret of working the land, and they picked the best olives with their own hands so as to obtain soft, pure and fresh oil.
The mystery of its flavor has lived for centuries. It was passing down from generation to generation in Europe and then it arrived in Cordoba together with those who came here to fare l’america. With the time, an Italian immigrant family retakes the old oil manufacturing in a little olive grove in Paso Viejo. The art and tradition of thousands of olive-growing years takes shape again; the secret is once more revealed. Verdicchio then starts off.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Verdicchio olive oil is made using the best handpicked olives. Its first cold-pressing, low acidity and a 45-day rest guarantee extra virgin oil, with its typical mild flavor and gentle aroma.
